Remember your joints ?
Water acts as lubricant..

Remember the post I shared about water and the bodily functions ?

The amount of water needed by everyone varies and that depends very much on your body weight. However, there is a formula you can use to measure the amount of water needed each day.

How much Kangen Water® to drink daily ?

Here is the formula we use to estimate our daily water intake. In fact the amount shows below is on the higher scale because it is used to simplify the calculation on the numbers. You can probably replace the 50ml to 45ml. Just multiply your weight with about 45ml.

Body weight x. 50 ml
50 kg x 50 ml = 2.5 liters
60 kg x 50 ml = 3.0 liters
70 kg x 50 ml = 3.5 liters
80 kg x 50 ml = 4.0 liters

The above does not include the water from the food and fruits you are eating everyday. You can still get some amount of water from these food but it is good to be aware of the calories from the sugar in its content.

Besides looking after the amount of water needed by our body, please also know that we lose our body fluid through exercise, sweat, living in hot weather, urine and many other ways.

Okay, so if you think you have had enough water in your body then I want you to think twice because I have an interesting article I read somewhere from the internet which mentioned that our body loses it body fluid to about 12 cups of water a day which 2 cups to 4 cups loss through breathing, 1/2 cup to 1 cup from the sole of the feet, 2 cups from perspiration, 6 cups from urine.

Greater level of dehydration can lead to serious health problem. When your body is dehydrated, toxic wastes are dumped into tissues, joints, fat and muscles instead of being eliminated.

The quality of water is important to your body health. So, how can Kangen Water help you to stay hydrated ? Read more from here, go to the top right side bar on this blog, you can get free water report by simply fill in the required details on the form.

  1. Hi Pearly,

Water is the most important thing we intake. In every form of medicine from Western to Eastern, water is the first thing a health professional will tell you to do.

But…what kind of water? Aha! Most people don’t bother to do the research of what is in the water we drink. Most of it I wouldn’t give my dog!

Kangen Water is looking good to me!

    Hi Pearly,
thank you for raising the awareness about this!
It is good to have a formula in regards to how much water we need according to our weight.

Would you agree that it is better to sip water than gulping down a glass at a time?

    Hi Yorinda,

Thank you for your kind comment. I would agree that a formula to estimate the water intake is a great way to let people aware of the amount of water they should be drinking daily to stay away from dehydration.

With regards to your question, I would say it is better to sip water whenever you are having a glass full of water. I don’t mean sip and then wait for 5 or 10 minutes before taking another sip. It is best to have one or two sip at a time and then maybe wait for 2 or 3 seconds before taking the next sip. This is not a proven healthy result but it is the way I drink water 🙂

    Cheers, my friend ! 🙂

  5. Hi Pearly,

What kind of water does Kangen generate? I have a whole house water softener and purifier (w/ UV light, etc.) – called Aquativa which I had installed a long time ago because I was concerned about the toxic stuff found in raw water. Then I learned that purified water doesn’t really give your body the minerals normally found in spring water which is good for your body. It’s just like drinking clean water without any nutrients. So on top of our whole house water purifier, I have spring water delivered every two weeks just for drinking. My concern with this set up is that the spring water is in plastic container which means some amount of BPA is probably in the water. I had Mountain Valley spring water brand before and the 5-gallon water bottle is all made of glass. I was happy with it when my husband had an accident and dropped the 5-gallon bottle on his foot, breaking the other 4 5-gallon bottles on the floor. It was a nightmare. I had to rush him to ER and it’s something I don’t want happening again. So I just had it changed to the regular spring water bottles. Oh the complications of having to get a good water 🙂
